Corridor Arts

Belper Art Trail is curated by Corridor Arts in Partnership with Belper Town Council’s Food Festival organising committee and extends the cultural offering of the Belper Food Festival. The trail features works made by artists based in Belper, Derbyshire  and beyond and is hosted by businesses in Belper Town centre, spread from the A6 up to the market square.

We are funded by drive, determination and a collaborative spirit and receive in kind support from the Belper Town Council.

Belper Art Trail 8th – 21st july 2013 

After the successful artist call out phase of the trail we’re now looking for businesses to work with to make the trail happen. Benefits of being an exhibiting business include the additional marketing,  profile building and footfall during the trail period.  We’re looking for windows and exhibiting opportunities along Bridge Street and King Street from non food and drink related businesses.  We install the artworks the week before and remove them during the week after.  We’re looking for places in windows and on walls to exhibit both 2d and 3d work.

The artist callout took them on a journey of favourites and submit their favourite from that journey or their favourite piece they’d ever made. We did this via a video hosted by you tube. it’s available to view on the call out page>>>

In July our audience will be able to embark on their own journey of favourites.
