We have practices that are very different to each other.  With this collaboration we explore creativity in a fun, relaxed manner and develop our thinking away from our personal practices.

We began by playing with an empty shop and mounted an exhibition of work by Alice Kell.  There are pictures of the exhibition in the archive and also on the effectuations page.

We have progressed to running the Belper Art Trail.

‘Effectuation’ is a noun meaning

the act of implementing (providing a practical means for accomplishing something); carrying into effect

Chris is exploring the idea of creative community.  Through evaluation and discussion centred around creative intentions and research, Chris set up Abandoned Projects.  Using the idea of spending two hours away from one’s regular practice to pick up an abandoned project in the company of other creative practioners.

Andrew brings with him his research into possible futures.

With Corridor Arts Chris and Andrew are having fun making and doing and meeting with and talking to other practioners.
